FAQs
Helping you decide whether coaching or consulting is the right choice for you.
Coaching
Is this therapy?
1
No. Somatic embodiment coaching is not therapy and does not replace it. We are not diagnosing, treating, or working with clinical mental health conditions. What we are doing is body-led, present-focused work to reconnect you with your nervous system, your felt sense, and your own inner knowing. Several of my clients have engaged in therapy at some point in their lives, including a couple who are trained therapists themselves, and have found this work goes somewhere different and complementary. I know my scope of practice and I have a duty of care to suggest specialised support as needed.
What does a session look like?
2
Every session is tailored to what is present for you that day. We might work with breath, body awareness, movement, or simply sitting with what is alive (or dead) in you and following it. There is no script. Sessions are 90 minutes and delivered online (in person available upon request) and held in a space of complete safety and confidentiality.
What if I’ve never done somatic work before?
3
Most people haven’t. You don’t need any prior experience, only curiosity and willingness. We will quiet your mind and help you learn to listen to the language from your body.
How do I know if I’m ready?
4
If you’re asking that question, you’re probably closer than you think. You don’t need certainty. You only need a small subtle flicker of curiosity or intrigue. I think this might be different is enough to work with. If you notice any doubts or resistance, I invite you to pause and be with it and ask yourself if that could it be the start of something too? Trust your gut, follow your intuition.
Is there a discovery call before I commit?
5
Yes. The Spark the Conversation call is a free, no-obligation chat where we explore what’s present for you, what you’re longing for, and whether working together feels right for both of us.
Do you work in person or online?
6
Sessions are delivered online. In-person sessions are available on request.
My experience to date has been working with women. That said, I am open to working with any individual who is genuinely curious and willing to do the inner work. If that’s you, reach out and let’s have a conversation.
7
Do you work with men?
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
8
Missed sessions are not refunded. If you need to reschedule, I ask for reasonable advance notice (the specifics are outlined in your client contract). Life happens, and I approach this with care and common sense.
What if I can’t afford the full investment?
9
Four times a year I open one funded space offering six sessions over three months for someone in a major life transition who is ready for this work but cannot access full pricing.
Consulting
What types of organisations do you work with?
1
Any pharma or biotech organisation with an expanded access programme that is looking for a dynamic, experienced individual to help shape internal policy and governance frameworks, or to engage in multi-stakeholder collaborations aimed at improving and advancing the access pathway for all patients. Company size is not the defining factor. Your readiness to ethically provide equitable access to patients matters most to me.
What type of work do you take on?
2
Strategic advice and guidance, developing positions and policies for internal or external use, governance framework design, and support in navigating the complex global regulatory landscape. I am available for both ongoing engagements and short-term or one-off projects.
What is your capacity?
3
I work up to 20 hours per month with consulting clients, allowing for focused, high-quality engagement.
What locations/geographies do you cover?
4
Global. My expertise spans international regulatory frameworks, with deep familiarity with country-level variation in expanded and managed access implementation.
How do you rates work?
5
Rates are scoped per project and discussed during an initial consultation. Every engagement is different, and I prefer to understand what you need before proposing terms.
How do I get started?
6
Reach out to me directly. We’ll have an initial conversation to understand your organisation’s needs and explore whether working together is the right fit.
